that makes sense for me, as stupid as this extension is. Selig wants to show that he can be the one to clean up this mess. If he leaves the game the way it is now, and someone comes in and the game cleans it self up, Selig would look like a clown while whoever took over would look like the savior of cleaning up baseball. Regardless we should assassinate Selig when he's at a Giants game, think how big of heroes we would be...

i think once selig is gone pete rose will finally be allowed into the hall of fame... at least i hope so.
