Best News About ESPN I've Heard In A Long Time

According to sources of Damon Bruce, these are actual facts, that Yahoo Sports in the months of September, October and November of 2007 had more internet "hits" then ESPN.com these numbers were provided by who I wish I could remember.

Bruce proclaimed that "...the sports fans are some of the most knowledgeable people on the planet. When they smell a rat they know what to do. When ESPN only talks about New York and Boston teams 95% of the time, the people become angry and bored. Yahoo Sports in recent months has hired some highly touted writers and is taking over in the sports world as one of the better universal mass medias for sports..."

With this I hope ESPN will get the message, and they should because you know what ESPN is missing out on all this, money. And what does ESPN want, money of course, why do you think they cross-polinated with ABC? Because cross-advertisement would bring revenue. ESPN will hopefully get this message, and they will, it may take time, but lets hope it brings back the ESPN of old. When sports mattered, when teams on the other side of the Mississippi mattered, when people cared about more then just the Lakers before Shaq was traded.

Thank you Damon Bruce and thank you Yahoo Sports. I debated lately about leaving Yahoo Sports for another Fantasy Realm but Yahoo Sports is too good at what they do, user friendly, universal coverage on lots of teams, and you may have to pay for some features but its just too greatly run of a website to leave. Yahoo Sports officially bigger then ESPN.com you heard it hear, first.
